STUDY OF RELATION BETWEEN SYMBIOTIC ASSOCIATION IN SPONGELIA SPP. AND ALGAE WITH REFERENCE TO BIOCHEMICAL CALCIUM PHOSPHATE
In previous observation it was concluded that calcium metabolism hampered by EDTA leads to increase in inhabiting algae in the canal system of Spongelia. In present study Spongelia sp. allow to circulate biochemical calcium through their canal system from surrounding media. Similarly inorganic Ca (PO 4)2 -- -in various ppm used for the comparative study of calcium metabolism in Spongelia. Calcium ATPase, other enzymatic estimations were conducted. Results are presented graphically. Observations were discussed to support the estimation.
