This study aimed to assess and compare the phytochemical composition of Boerhavia diffusa using five different solvents, namely ethanol, methanol, aqueous, hydroalcohol, and petroleum ether. The investigation focused on identifying secondary metabolites, including glycosides, proteins, alkaloids, and flavonoids, present in the plant extracts, with a particular emphasis on the hydroalcoholic extract. The phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of various bioactive compounds, showcasing the diverse chemical profile of Boerhavia diffusa. Notably, the hydroalcoholic extract exhibited a rich composition of secondary metabolites, emphasizing its potential as a valuable source of phytoconstituents. Furthermore, extractive values were determined for each solvent, providing insights into the efficiency of extraction. The hydroalcoholic extract demonstrated high extractive values, suggesting that this solvent effectively extracted a substantial amount of phytochemicals from Boerhavia diffusa. These findings underscore the importance of solvent selection in extracting bioactive compounds from medicinal plants. The hydroalcoholic extract, characterized by its comprehensive phytochemical content and high extractive values, emerges as a promising candidate for further investigations and potential therapeutic applications. The study contributes valuable information to the understanding of Boerhavia diffusa's chemical composition, supporting its exploration for pharmacological and medicinal purposes
