Medicinal plants were the compelling foundation of many pharmacological activities. Among those the plants of anthelmintic action has attained a great interest due the capability of the plant and its composite to treat a disease that causes major economic loss and reduced livestock production to the livestock holders. Herbal medicines are prepared from a variety of plant materials-leaves, stems, roots, barks, fruits, seeds, flowers and so on. India has an ancient heritage of customary medicines.
